CIRTT’s work is based on project principles, enabling us to fund research, development and innovation from external sources as well.
The Center currently carries out the following projects:
- EIT Health Hub, network of best-in-class health innovators backed by the EU. The Supervisory Board of EIT Health InnoStars has approved the selection of the University of Zagreb as a new EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) hub, which has joined the EIT Health network to work alongside the existing network of ten (now thirteen) regional hubs in implementing the EIT Health Regional Innovation Scheme .
- EIT Climate KIC Hub, part of the Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT RIS). The project is implemented in cooperation with the Zagreb Innovation Center, the Regional Energy Agency of Northwestern Croatia, the Faculty of Geotechnics of Varaždin University of Zagreb, the Terra Hub, the Green Energy Cooperative and the Knowledge Network and the Impact Hub Zagreb
- Technology Transfer Office Support Program (UTT Program). In 2017, CIRTT implemented four technology transfer projects with the additional funding of the National Support Program for Transfer Technology (UTT) program, led by HAMAG-BICRO
- PoC – The Proof of Concept progamme is implemented within the framework of the Croatian Science and Technology Project II, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education (MZO) and the World Bank. The implementation of the Program was awarded to the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investment (HAMAG-BICRO).
