Comprehensive Water Technology d.o.o. is a spin-off company of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology and the University of Zagreb. It was founded in 2015, based on the 40 years of experience and knowledge of the faculty staff in solving real problems in the field of work.
The company’s main activities include:
- research of technologically sustainable processes for drinking water and wastewater treatment using pilot plants
- development of conceptual and technologically sustainable systems for water treatment based on research
- research and development of new analytical methods, technological processes, and measuring devices
- automation, development, and production of specific equipment in process industry, science, and research.
The company’s activities are primarily related to specific services for drinking water and wastewater treatment based on a scientific research approach where innovative solutions adapted to the needs of end-users are applied. As the research itself requires the development of specific measuring and analytical equipment, as well as equipment for remote monitoring and management, knowledge and experience have been acquired in that field. Therefore, in recent years, the company has been increasingly working on the development of various equipment in the process industry and for the needs of scientific research.
In addition to a team of experts from FKIT and the economy, the company actively involves students who gain real-life experience through their final, graduate theses, and professional practice. Each student has the opportunity to work directly with analytical equipment, and if possible, fieldwork on real problems is also provided.
