The Science2Business training programme officially commenced yesterday with an opening ceremony, delivered by the University of Zagreb in its role as the EIT Health representative for Croatia.
The programme has been designed to introduce scientists and researchers to the world of research-based innovation. During yesterday’s opening session, participants had the opportunity to hear inspiring examples of innovative healthcare solutions presented by:
- Professor Mislav Jelić, MD, PhD
- Academician Professor Bojan Jerbić, PhD
- Nina Šesto, PhD
- Manuela Panić, PhD
The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring Smiljka Vikić-Topić, MSc, Academician Professor Bojan Jerbić, PhD, and Manuela Panić, PhD. The discussion offered an insightful comparison of two successful knowledge-based start-ups founded on innovations developed at the University of Zagreb.
We would like to thank everyone who made the launch of this programme possible, especially our partner and sponsor Novartis Croatia, as well as our sponsors, the World Bank and the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth.
